The mission of the parent group is to:
· Enrich the educational experience of the students
· Present a welcoming atmosphere for Hillside families
· Provide a vehicle for volunteerism within the school
Parents can help by:
· Assisting in their child’s classroom
· Supporting fundraisers
· Donating their time to help with assemblies and events
The following are events that are planned for the year:
· Special Person’s Day
· Family Fun Night
· Science Fair
· Walk for Education
· Fall Picnic
· Book Fair
· Jump for Heart
· Field Day
The Hillside School parent group also coordinates several fundraisers during the school year. With proceeds from fundraising the parent group is able to provide monetary support for field trips, assemblies, and classroom programs.
