Admissions Process

Applications are accepted throughout the school year.  The Admissions Process is as follows:

1. Interested parents should call the school office at 610-967-3701.
2. An information packet will be sent directly to the parents and a meeting between parents and Head of School or Assistant Head of School will be scheduled.
3. Parents should bring current pyschoeducational testing, evaluations, and school reports to the first meeting.
4. During the meeting the philosophy and educational program of The Hillside School will be discussed.  A tour of the school is given including observation of classrooms via observation rooms.
5. To apply for admission, please complete the Application for Admission and return to The Hillside School along with a check for $250.00 (this covers the $50.00 Application Processing Fee and a $200.00 Registration Fee).
6. The Head/Assistant Head of School will schedule an interview with the child and administer reading and math placement tests. Parents will be given a summary of results.
7. Parents will receive telephone and written notification of the school’s decision regarding acceptance. 
8. A scholarship application is available upon request.  Scholarship awards are based on financial need.
