The Hillside School, led by a full-time Head of School and Assistant Head of School, has sixteen full-time certified classroom teachers.
There are full-time specialists in the areas of art/music, speech and language, and computer technology.
In addition, there are two full-time guidance counselors.
Part-time faculty include a physical education teacher and a librarian.
Professional staff remains current in teaching practices and research for children with learning differences. Teachers with two or more years of experience at The Hillside School further their professional development by participating in a peer-coaching program. Hillside teachers comply with all the Pennsylvania certification requirements including Pennsylvania’s Act 48.
Support staff includes an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Development Director, and Events Coordinator.
